  questions re ‘organize’ command and quicktime

  Hi guys,
  I have been running some test on my new (version 3.0) FS-100 and a HVX-200.

  I shot some DV (25) to the FS-100 in Avid OMF format. All went well.

  From what I understand, once you do a ‘Organize OMF’ command, you cannot record anymore until you reformat. Does that also mean after I ‘organize OMF’ I cannot record in Quicktime format? ie. does the ‘organize’ command basically stop you from recording any further in ANY format or just the one you ‘organized’ as I don’t see their being a ‘organize Quicktime’ command ?

  Secondly, if I’m using a PC, is there any way to view the Quicktime files. They are recorded with the DVCPro codec, but my quicktime player won’t play these and I can’t find a simple codec to download for free anywhere. How do I play it on my PC?
