    1) Does Resolve (in any way) import the motion control from FCP7, such as scale and center movement via xml?

    2) When you load a grade into memory, it also keeps the zoom and pan info. why is that? Can I load a grade without the zoom and pan direction?

    3) If a series of clips are grouped, it all gets graded the same. (That’s a good thing) what if you just what the 1 or 2 clips that are grouped, to be graded uniquely?

    1) No
    2) If I understand this correct – you want different versions or grades to have different settings for pan, tilt, rotate and zoom? I’m not sure it’s working that way today. Honestly haven’t looked for it, but I don’t think it does.
    3) I prefer to keep the clips ganged and adjust them all in one go. If there happens to be one or more clips I want to adjust further without affecting the others (but do not wish to use Batch copy), simply make a new version for that clip.

You can right click on the memory and say “Display node graph”. In the top right you click “apply color”. This will apply the grade without the PTZR and if you had already adjusted the PTZR, it will leave it as is.
