i use a logitech mouse (MX500) and i have the mouse wheel button mapped to be the 3rd mouse button. yet when i use pillusion, i press the mouse wheel button and i cannot shift the stage around to align it (the hand icon doesnt show up either). is there an alternative way to access the hand function so i can shift the stage around?

the mouse wheel button works in maya, so i dont think the logitech mouse is faulty.

If you right-click on the stage and choose Scroll, you’ll get the same function as normal middle-mousing (at least that’s how it works on Windows, so I assume its the same)

Sorry, the middle mouse button for scrolling (panning) doesn’t work in 3.0.0 on OS X. I’m working on the update though (ready for release within a month) so I’m glad you reminded me about this.

You should also be able to use the stage window context menu (r-click in the stage window), or the keyboard shortcut of “S”.
