question on doing a duotone video effect.
i don’t really know what to call this effect, but i guess you could call it duotone… anyways, i want to know how to make an effect where only two colors are displayed. it’s not a color isolation effect, it’s hard to explain, so here’s an example:

basically, i want to replicate that effect. is there an easy way to do it in Vegas?

Why do you think it’s not color isolation. Some of that is definitely achieved with color isolation. You could use the Secondary Color Corrector to do that. Other parts are duotone. You can achieve this by placing Red Solid Color Generated Media on a track above the video and set the track mode to Multiply (Mask). Some of that also looks like it is live i.e., the stage really does have red monitors and red lights when they perform.
