i have a few questions for the decklink extreme for pci-e on a quad g5 going to a sony ntsc broadcastmonitor.
im newer to the black magic set up and i have installed everything but i am wondering the connection config to the ntsc
the correct set up i know i can get video out i tested the connection with the 10 y bnc and i was not sure if i had the set up correct just to go into the line in on channel a .
if you or anyone else has some tips it would be great thanksoh yeah running 10.4.6/fcp 5.0.4/qt pro 7.0.1 on quad g5

Hi,
Wat you’re doing sounds right. If you’re monitoring just composite video, se the Y output from the card and send that into the Line A of your monitor. You should also switch the output options in the DeckLink preferences to “NTSC / PAL (Y Out)”.
