  • Question: Decklink Studio SD/HD Powering Multiple Monitors?

My company is moving to a new facility and upgrading some of our setup.

We want to be able to do a few things…

    1. We want to be able to feed HD picture to two monitors simultaneously – one in the booth, one in the control room. Could I run both feeds using a Decklink Studio or would I need to split the output out of the box. What would you recommend as a DA in this case? Should I be concerned about quality loss from long cable runs?

    2. In the audio booths we want to have a WebCam+Skype monitor setup that is running from computers in the control room. Is there a way I could control this switching on the same monitor, or would I need another? Would this interface with a the Decklink or is there a better solution?

    Thanks!
