  • Question : Color image in after effects

Posted by Ovy Mark on May 2, 2025 at 11:30 pm

    Hi everyone! 😊

I’m just getting started with motion graphics and I was hoping someone could help me figure out how to achieve a specific color effect in After Effects. It’s from the end credits of the movie Oblivion, and I’ve attached a picture for reference.

The part I’m most curious about is the overall color treatment — it has a soft blue tone with white accents and clean white borders. I’ve been experimenting with effects like SI Toner, CC Color Offset, and Channel Mixer, but I haven’t quite been able to replicate the look yet.

Any tips or pointers would be super appreciated. Thanks so much and all the best! 🙌

Hello thank you very much I have learned a lot with the tutorial very very very good. and I appreciate your time very much.but my question is more directed to the color of the image itself not so much the texts ( although i didn’t know how to do that either and now I do thanks to you ) .

“It has a soft blue tone with white accents and clean white edges.”- I am referring to the hills in the image. I know that maybe it’s too much to ask but if you could help me with that I would greatly appreciate it. all the best and again thank you very much. for all your help
