question about loading FCP5 on more than one machine: Can I??

This is a question from a paranoid purchaser of software, expensive software…
I just bought fcp5 and am waiting for a new machine which should be here in a week, and am wondering if I can load FCP5 on my G4 that I use right now, and still be able to load it onto my new G5 that is coming. Sounds stupid, but I am just paranoid that if I put it onto one machine, I will not be able to load it onto another. Same goes with Adobe CS.

One more question, after installing FCP5 and upgrading all my projects, should I dump FCP4.5?

As long as you remove it from your G4 once you install it on your G5.

And Shane’s speaking from a legal point of view, not a technical one. 🙂
While it’s possible to put one copy on multiple machines (technically) it’s not allowed (legally).

thanks guys, i get the picture! one more thing, upgrades, legally I would only be able to do one machine, but illegally and technically is it possible to do the two?

uh oh…whos gonna call the apple police!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think apple would make a killing by charging like, 200 doillars for a license that allows 2 computers at once, and incrementally up.

i have a feeling a lot of places just unplug there network cables, and get to work.
