Has anyone out there noticed that in premiere 6, tyou and import in quicktime, animation, millions plus, and its great for greenscreening, but in premiere 7 you cant import this way, and if you convert it, you lose the advantage? I do screening all the time and its always a struggle now, anyone else notice this?

millions+ means the clip has an alpha channel and therefore does not require a green screen (chroma key). No reason why it would not work in Prem 7 (1.5) or 2.0

    Works for me.

    Hi craig,
thanks for responding. I understand it has an alpha channel, and I use greenscreen because I am actually using commotion pro’s primatte keyer, and it works wonderfully, the thing I was addressing, is the fact that prmiere pro doesnt let u capture in quick, anim plus, its like they took it out, unless I am missing it, however I just read that 2.0 they put it back in.

I have experienced a difference capturing in any other format and then converting it, with the same clips run on 6 and 7.
capturing it differently was giving me diagonals thet were more pickey.
p.s. I used commotion because i didnt have a full greenscreen and had to roto our the edges ect
