  Quality of AVCHD in Avid?

  Hi Everyone,
  I’ve heard that unlike FCP, Avid imports AVCHD video natively. Is this true? And if so, does the native capture reduce the appearance of artifacts and ghosts that seem to plague editors of AVCHD in FCP?
