Quadro 4000 Mac – CUDA – lion 10.7.4
I’ve semi-successfully installed the Quadro 4000 Mac into my MacPro 4,1 OSX 10.7.4 Premiere CS6.0.1. I’ve found the CUDA driver for 10.7.4 (Retail 270.00.00f06) and installed. The driver for the Q 4000 seems to be included in 10.7.4 so no need to install. I’m playing back multi camera w/ synced audio and CC without a problem, however, I don’t have the option to select Accelerated GPU CUDA, only software playback. Any insight on how to remedy this situation would be appreciated.

The 270.00.0 drivers are graphics drivers not CUDA drivers. You need to find the CUDA software for Mac…

So Jim,is the performance boost worth the expense of the Quadro 4000 card? I’m curious cause I’m running 6.1 on a Mac 4.1 too.
