    Hi!

I am on the move of switching from 3d studio max to Cinema 4d. One feature that I have grown to rely on in 3ds is the ability to quardrify a mesh for a nice way to get rounded edges. Is there a way to do this in Cinema? Either via native or script/plugin?

Well no. I am aware of hyper nurbs. That is the subdivision algorithm. I want to tighten up the mesh before I put on my hyper nurbs modifier. Its like an automatic way of adding edges to make the subdivision look harder.

it sounds like you might be looking for Functions/Subdivide but HN is pretty flexible so HyperNurbs weighting would be good to look at too (and/or the Knife Tool instead of Subdividing, so you don’t get a lot of unneeded polys )
