  Quad

  Hey guys

  So we just got in a quad 2.5 with 8 gigs of memory and a DECKLINK HD PCI-E card for a realtime preview. I’m running two samsung syncmaster 204Ts with the 7800 GT graphics card. It arrived monday and for the last three days (tuesday/wed/thur) when I come into the office and start it up I get the typical macintosh “tone” but nothing shows up on my monitors. When I do a hard restart the screens light right up and the OS loads on the screen.

  To sum it up, I have to restart my computer after I turn it on every morning — I called apple and some shlem told me to do a bunch of power re-starting stuff, and it clearly didn’t do a thing — I usually post in the after effects forums so I figured maybe you guys have some feedback —
