Is there a way to save your export settings in FCP when you do an Export with QT Conversion.
Every time I power off and come back the next day It swithcehs bal to a default setting. I would like to set up an output setting and be able to recall that setting without redoing it weach time. Yes I am an AVID guy who made the switch, and I am loving it, Please tell me there is a way to save these settings.

Not that we know of, been screaming about this for years.

Might be easier to create a Compressor Droplet if you do a certain export often.

Export a reference file to your desktop, plop it onto the Droplet (assuming you’ve built it to ask for a destination) and away it goes. The first few Droplets are confusing but they’re cool.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”

But curiously when exporting from the QT Player it keeps the last set-up.

Cool, rafael, I’ve never bothered to pay attention to that in QTP but I never use it to export.
    Thanks.
