I left my upgrade from version 2.5.1 drivers to 2.6 for several months, so that any bugs would have been ironed out, prior to installation… as I have been caught out in the past!!

Now after finally upgrading to 2.6 I find that, whilst 2.6 drivers offer some very positive fixes, I now cannot play any Quicktime encoded (.mov) files on the Premiere timeline… they just show as black.

The exception of course is that AJA QT files are playable, and .avis, but any QT file using an external codec, like Photo jpg or mjpeg, will not play… even though they will play on the Desktop with QuickTime Pro player.

Does anyone know if this a known problem with 2.6 drivers, and is it fixed in the 3 upgrade… again I was leaving the version 3 upgrade, for a month or two to let the dust settle.

Any comments would be a help.

    Cheers
