QT Animation codec?
We used to get beatiful keys in AE by exporting DV50 Footage out of FCP w/ the animation Codec – Keylight keyed everything great.
Now with FCP5 and QT 7, the animation codec just passes through the DV50 and we get the artifacts.
QT7 shows (under clip info) that previously exported Animation Codec files are listed as format: “16-bit Animation Big Endian” – the new Animation Codecs from FCP5/QT7 just say “Animation”.
What’s going on?
We’re stuck.
