QT Animation at 100% and 24 bit looks horrible and jagged
Premiere CS4. I’ve never had this issue before and there has been no change in my software. I’m assuming quicktime got updated or something like that. Tried restarting programs and PC to no avail.
My video is 1280×720 (1.0), 29.976 fps, progressive scan, exported with the Animation codec at 100% quality.
I’ve tried changing the bit depth to 8, 16, 24 and 32, and selecting and deselecting “Render at Maximum Depth” (on 8-bit the exported video is black, by the way). But at maximum it still looks like that.
According to VLC, this are the codec details:
Codec: Apple Quicktime RLE Video (rle)
Language: English
Resolution: 1280×720
Frame rate: 19.365250 (<- notice this!)
Decoded Format: 24 bits RGBNoticed the framerate? On the codec setting at export I made sure it was the proper number, but VLC still gives that off. When I exported at 8 bit the fps was around 6 according to VLC.
Quicktime player also shows messed up video, so its not the player.
Can anyone advise?
