QT and Center channel
Not sure this has been covered before but I did not see it in a search so here goes.
I have exported an 8 channel, surround sound video using Apple ProRes 422(HQ). My sequence settings for audio output were all Dual Mono, my timeline channel outputs were all to their individual, respective channels. I open up my export using Quicktime Pro and need to label my audio tracks as 1-6(L,R,C,LFE,Ls,Rs) 7&8 as Lt&Rt Stereo.
All is well with one video but on the second one, all the tracks are ok until I label track 3 as Center, then all the tracks go mute. No more audio. I can name it anything else except that.
After far too many attempts at correcting this, some coworkers mentioned that this is a bug in QT, but that it really does work. Not sure I can say it works if i can’t hear it but i’ve been racking my brains for too long on this.
Anyone out there with any similar experience or any answers?
We are using QT version 7.6.4.
