Qmaster won’t run properly
Seems to be the day for Compressor problems…
I cannot get Qmaster to run properly any more. If I can even get the cluster to show up in Compressor, it will give me an error message
“An internal error occurred:Apple Qmaster File Agent not Found”
A quick look in the Activity monitor shows all the cores showing up as “Not Responding”. Also it indicates that the CompressorJobController is not responding as well as the Qmaster Task Service, qmasterqd and the contentController. And I’m getting a message in the Activity Monitor that coreaudio is not responding either.
I’ve tried using Compressor Repair to no avail.
However, if I use a Compressor Droplet (I have MANY!) the activity monitor shows activity on all eight cores and the compression proceeds at a rapid pace.It seems the only way to access all the cores is through a Droplet.
Qmaster has always had a little VooDoo in it but…sheesh…
Thanks,
