I set up a Quick Cluster between two Mac G5s through the QMaster preferences. When I ran a file through Compressor (fast encode to mpg2) my FinalCut drive filled up. It is currently listed at 0 kb storage. Before I began I did set the QMaster Admin preferences file destination to a separate drive. 1)I can not find the files that were created on my Final Cut drive in order to delete them and 2) am I missing something when I put together a cluster that makes it ineffective?

    Thanks in advance.

Over on apple.com, there’s a dedicated Qmaster forum.
The traffic is light and the complaints outnumber the positive posts by about 10,000 to 1. This appears to be worthless software from Apple that only works for a few gifted or charmed individuals. I’ve read the manuals through many times, followed every step pf the setup and initiation meticulously and repeatedly and with the assistance of Linux Jedi and I’ve never gotten the damned thing to even start.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”

Qmaster creates processor clusters on networked Macs. In theory you should be able to use all processors on the Mac network to encode files using Compressor.
