I am developing a clouds animation. The camera is moving to give it a sense of flying and under pyrocluster material -> noise, I animate Phase, so that the clouds are changing shape slowly.

My problem is that approximately 1% of frames are totally wrong. By that I mean, that the transition from previous frame to the next is abrupt. The clouds are in some strange position and not connected to previous state.

Also, around 0.4% of frames don’t even render clouds. It just renders the sweep nurbs plane, to which clouds are attached.

    Check this image below:

I am rendering the same frame, but in picture viewer it is totally different (and undesired).

    What should I do?

Keep in mind both phase and evolution can make huge changes in the look of the noise being used, especially if your scale of world is on the extreme end of things. Usually with these sorts of settings we start out with settings like .002.

Thanks for stopping by. I noticed that the first frame was off, so I adjusted it to something like 14.01. The thing is, I am animating Phase all the way to 700.

The first difference is cloud positioning is at exact 130% Phase.
