Whenever I hit “Now” in “Log and Capture” after about 2 minutes of capture I see at the bottom it says searching for timecode, but my VCR is still playing. Of course when FCP finally finds timecode again, the video has a gap. If I try to capture from that point on, I then can only capture for a few seconds and it says ” end of tape reached”.

I have an 8-core Mac Pro with 16 gigs of ram, so my computer isn’t the issue. Is there a setting to ignore timecode in Final Cut Pro capture? The Pyro is connected via firewire.
