I do a lot of shooting of live music in various kinds of stage light situations. The Z150 is my new camera after years of shooting with the EX-1. I have been shooting in MPEG HD 422, because that is the easiest way to get footage into a legacy Final Cut 7.03 system. I have noticed that there is over saturation and even clipping of color. I can dial the color back using 3-Way Color Correction but that doesn’t help with the clipping, of course. Is there a setting on the camera that will ameliorate this issue? I might add that this happens in situations where there is intense LED lighting with lots of color. There is an AGC Limit item on the menu. It is in the off position. Would that help if turned on?

Jay, have a look at Doug Jensen’s Master Class on the camera, he explains the setting choices brilliantly.
