I am having an issue placing two track mattes on one clip. I am trying to blur out the background of a frame while keeping two of my subjects clear as they move independently through the frame. For the first matte, I duplicated my video tracks, placed a gaussian blur on the bottom track, created an ellipse with the title tool and matted it to the top video track. This worked perfectly for subject #1. I can key frame the matte to follow them around the screen.

My issue now comes with creating another matte for subject #2 that I can motion edit it independently. I tried different orders of stacking the video tracks, nesting the two title tracks together etc. I can change the matte track in the track matte settings and it will flif from one to the other on the screen but the other one will remain white. I am out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated.
