essentially I am looking to do what is done in this stupid video-

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67riI_A_pCA

    fast forward to :36

in the video king leonidas’s face is pasted over the face of the techno viking, and moves around with him.

I want to have an image within my video and move it around. seems like this would be very easy, but I am stumped.

    many thanks.

The image needs to have a transparent background and goes above your main video track.
Then use Pan/Crop and (potentially) LOTS of keyframes to follow the on-screen action.
A motion tracker would make this job a lot easier but Vegas doesn’t offer this option 🙁
Boris FX does but it’s an additional $300.00
    A trial version is available.
