    Hi,

I have a mov of a man in front of a greensceen that I have brough into after effects. I have keyed out the background and keyframed the position throughout the clip so that he stays in the same place.

My problem is, I want to mask an area around him as the key has left a bit of fuzziness, but when I draw a mask it travels with the keyframed position movement.

Do I make the mask on an adjustment layer above so that the mask will always be in the same place?
I tried this, but it has no effect. How can I link it to just the mov layer?

Is this the best way to do it?

(I had put this in the AE basics forum, but maybe no one looks at that because it didn’t get an answer)
