Hey guys, need some help. I’m animating this seal-

and I want it to move like it’s swimming. I’ve parented all the layers, changed the rotations, prepared them all but I’m having a lot of trouble with the puppet warp on the main body. How would you suggest I bend the body up and down (in a swimming motion) without it going lumpy and strange?

You guys have always helped me in the past, how would you guys go about it?

I’d use the bones feature of the free DUIK tools. The linked tutorial has sur-titles in English for those who don’t understand French.

The puppet tool is applied to a layer. If you do the body the tale won’t move with it. So you need to put all of the layers in a group and then add the p tool to it.
