Puppet Tool – Random Pieces Coming Off Layer
Hello, I occasionally make some animations in Adobe After Effects using the puppet tool. I use Photoshop to cut out the layers and use Adobe After Effects’ puppet tool to move the characters. I’ve always had this problem where random pieces come off of the layer. Does anybody know what causes and how to fix this problem? I checked the layers in Photoshop and all of them seem solid. All of the pieces are connected and move within Photoshop. An example can be seen here:

Mesh expansion and/or resolution (number of triangles) is inadequate for the purpose. Turn on mesh so you can see it and then adjust expansion and triangles until the mesh covers the cut-out character in full. These options are right in the tool bar next to the puppet pin tool when it is active.
