  puppet tool failed renders

  so i have to say, these intel macs while faster than ever, seem to occasionally have comps that continually crash, usually involving particular, frischluft DOF causing render crashes, or in this case the puppet tool causing failed renders.

  i get consistent failed render on a comp with a bunch of 4k psd layers and a puppet on one layer, but when i dupe the comp, and turn off the puppet, it renders fine.

  i tried turning down the triangles, but it starts to tear and break the image. havent played with expansion, but could that help?

  I am on a 8-core with 6gb of RAM (i know technically i should have like 16)

  is there anyway to optimize this with the setup i have?
