When adding BRoll over a video, sometimes I want to pull down just the video of a clip from the viewer into the timeline without the audio. Instead of pulling the whole clip down to the timeline then deleting the audio tracks. Is there an easy way to do this?

Yes. Disconnect the audio track selection buttons so that there’s a visible space between them and the selected audio tracks. Now when you drag the clip from the Viewer only the video will be inserted. Works the same for inserting only audio, too. Then you just disconnect the video track selector tab/button.

Or lock the audio tracks (Shift+F5) before draging the clip.
