    Hello all,

I trying to edit a copy of FCPX’s “Dramatic” Title generator in Motion.

I have set the scale slider to “publish” so that I can adjust the timing. The problem is that though the animation seems to work fine in Motion, when placed on the timeline in fcpx , the text is static.

Is there something simple that I am doing wrong?

    Cheers,

    T

If the scale slider is published, you can now set scale keyframes in Final Cut Pro to change the value for scale over time.

A way of using a different sets of keyframes that have been set in Motion is to assign each set to a rigged widget.

    Hi Alex,

A closer study showed that the z-index, as opposed to scale, was used in the above effect. No matter, I made z index publishable, but there is still no movement in fcpx.

Is it therefore the case that if a parameter is published then it is essentially re-set in fcpx? And that one has to create a widget to override that?

I am away from my kit this weekend so cannot look.

    Love your blog/work btw.
