pSpawn in After Effects
Alright eyeon Fusion has a tool called pSpawn which basically spawns particles from other particles. I’m trying to replicate this feature in After Effects. I’m almost sure this can’t be done with any of the default plugins that come with Afterfx (tho i could be wrong…) so i’m wondering if i could do this in Trapcode Particular? If not is there any plugin that could accomplish this?

Both Particular and Particle Playground can do this.
In Particle Playground us set the Particle Exploder and use an 8 bit grayscale layer to control when the particles explode.
In Particular you can use the Aux System under Physics to emit at a Bounce Event or Continuously.
