Pseudo-effects missing – can’t remember how to re-add
Hi,
So – unless I’m doing something wrong, every time AE (major) upgrades, I have to re-install all my plugins. Ages ago I created two pseudo-effects and yesterday I spotted that I hadnt been re-adding them.
I’ve followed my notes from the time, opening the PresetEffects.xml and pasting in the code and adding the custom presets.
But when I open AE and try to add the effects, I get a “missing effect” message.
Any ideas?

Possibly solved, looks like a backwards-compatibility issue. The effects still work if I ignore the Missing: dialogue.
For the sake of $17.99, might just buy the compatible version from BatchFrame and remake the effects. Here’s the link if anyone is interested:
