PSD resource fork not created in R17
Hi all,
I’ve just upgraded to R17 (OS X). When saving a .psd file I no longer get an image preview and cannot double-click to open in Photoshop. I have to manually add “.psd” to the filename, at which point all’s well with the world.
I’m guessing that the PSD info isn’t being written into the Mac’s file resource fork. If I render and do a “Save As” from the Picture Viewer, the file is saved correctly, so my issue is more of an inconvenience than anything else.
Anyone had a similar issue?
[UPDATE] This isn’t unique to .psd files – it happens with pretty much any file format inc TIFF, PNG and JPG. I’ve checked system permissions (I’m running OS X 10.9.5). I also tried installing R17 on another machine that’s running OS X 10.11.1 and I have the same issue. Note that I don’t have the issue with C4D R16.
