PSA for Creative Cloud users: Don’t Sleep on Remix in Audition
Audition is overlooked by so many Premiere editors. There’s a lot of reasons why it shouldn’t be, but there is one feature in there that is way too underused by editors, regardless of comfort level with audio editing: Remix.
It’s been around for quite a while now, but if you haven’t heard of it: you know that task we all do of editing music to fit a certain length? Remix does that automatically and is remarkably good at it.
I’ve switched to Resolve for most of my editing and I still launch Audition just to do this.
Why this feature hasn’t made its way into Premiere is beyond me – but thank goodness we finally have a panel to buy sound effects from Adobe ?
