    PS file won’t open by double clicking

    After upgrading my Mac to 10.4.7, I’m no longer able to open files by double clicking or dropping on the PS icon. I have to use “file”, “open.” Is there a fix that anyone knows about?

    I have cs 8.0.

    Try this:

    In Finder select a file and choose FILE > INFO. Make sure that the default app for opening the file type is Photoshop and apply it to all similar files.

    I have no problems with CS2 and 10.4.8.
