  Proxies doubled (2 of each clip)

  I have just started my first 4K project using proxies in CC 2017. Everything went smoothly but then I saw every proxy it made was doubled. Example: there’s a file called C0001_Proxy and right next to it a file called C0001_Proxy_Proxy. Exactly the same size and everything. The ingest command I gave was “Create Proxies”. No Copy, No Copy and Create. Do I need both? Should I erase one? It’s a lengthy project and all the proxies amount to 400 Gb. Is it safe to erase? I’d hate to have to waste 3 more days creating new proxies (that’s how long it took).
