  • Proxies do not scale correctly during playback

Posted by Jerry Sneede on September 30, 2016 at 6:39 pm

I’ve created 1280×720 proxies of 4K footage, and am scaling down 50% on a 1920×1080 timeline. Everything is OK with proxies off, and also when paused on the timeline with proxies on, or after rendering. But, with proxies on, as soon I play, the clip jumps to its original 100% size. Any fix for this?

Correction – the clip doesn’t return to the 4K 100% size during playback, but somewhere in between 50% and 100%.

OK – I see that any size but 50% works OK, including 50.1.
