Protitler – applying presets to existing texts vs?
I’m having trouble applying collection presets to existing text. It seems to want to supply new text. The help text says drag to the timeline.
Can you create text first then assign a collection to that text?
While I’m at it. The basic pick text color is very non intuitive. What no color picker?

Drag the preset to the timeline, double click the default text to modify. You cannot apply a preset to existing text.
The lack of a color picker is one of the frustrating aspects of PTT, I agree.
You may find this DVD to be of help to you.

It’s unfortunate that the help text says the following:
“The presets toolbar is displayed in the bottom-right corner of the workspace. You can use this toolbar to apply preset effects and styles to your title.”
Maybe someone could point this out to sony Vegas.

Don’t get me wrong I’m happy Vegas finally has these abilities
built in!
