    Hi all,
Not sure if this is the right place for this post, but I could use some advice on whether or not to sell my EX1.
I absolutely love the EX1, but am not doing as much videography as I used to and am not sure if it makes sense to hold on to my EX1, or if it would make more sense to sell and buy a DSLR.

    Any advice?

Like I said, I love the EX1 (especially the ease of use in a run and gun type situation), but if I’m not doing much of that kind of work, does it make sense to keep or should I “downgrade” to a less expensive camera?

    Thanks in advance!

You would still need to purchase an assortment of good lenses for the DSLR, as well as some way of recording good audio. So your budget wouldn’t be much different.

You can’t zoom in on a person or object, nor can you shoot good hand held shots with a DSLR. That’s my take. I do like the DSLR’s depth of field though.

I have both cameras and each has it advantages and disadvantages and they each do really well in different situations. What kind of videography do you do?
