Working on a multi cam shoot.

Some of the footage was shot with the Canon 5DMII.

Some of the footage was shot with the Panasonic 500.

    Need to multiclip the footage.

Should the Panasonic footage (DVCPro HD) be transferred to Pro Res?

Should the Canon footage (ProRes) be transferred to DVCPro HD?

Just need to decide on one format so I can use multiclip, but wasn’t sure what direction to go.

    Any suggestions?

If drive space is not a major concern, I would go to ProRes. Pro Res is full raster, DVCPRO Hd is anamorphic. (1280 pixels stretch to 1920 for display for 1080i)

ProRes uses quite a bit more storage space, however.
