Prores not working properly in cinema tools
HI,
does anyone have ever encountered this issue. I have some Prores footage at 29.97 that I reverse telecine in cinema tools. Once this done I re-import those 23.98 files inside FCP and notice that I still have an upper field first dominance when in fact it should be none. I did try working with other codecs (uncompressed 8 bit for example) and those files were behaving correctly. I only have this issue with ProRes
Anybody can help?

Try the steps in this older apple doc that uses Compressor instead of Cinema Tools. See if that helps:
