ProRes 422 in CS4? (mac)

As far as I know, you can run it in CS4… Of course I think you need to own FCS to even have ProRes export/encode capability…

I have FCS and just installed CS4 – no joy on prores files. “unsupported file type” error.

Premiere and After Effects CS4 Mac have no problem reading and working with files converted to Pro Res. You shouldn’t be getting an “unsupported file type” error as It is just a Quicktime codec.
The AME encoder doesn’t work well converting to ProRes as it tends to crash when batch encoding to ProRes or DNxHD. But for that I use Compressor or Voltaic if dealing with avchd source.
