Proper Settings- Image buffer error
One of my biggest hangups as a newbie is that I have trouble exporting and importing and getting the proper setting for the video footage that I’m working with. I typically shoot w/ a Panasonic HVX-200 and capture footage that is DVCPRO HD (720p60), 960×720.
It seems like if bring in a full size Quicktime DVCPRO HD movie to AE then it’s too much for the program to handle. I continuously get the error message “After Effects error: could not create 1248×702 image buffer. ( 7 :: 39 )”
I do all these Creative Cow tutorials with DV footage and everything works fine. Can some please advise me about how to create a stable work flow or how I should be prepping my footage or adjusting my comp. settings for the footage that I work with.
I’m working in AE 7.0 on a Mac with OSX 10.5.8
Thanks,
Ross
