  • Proper sequence and export settings for TV commercial

Posted by John Galvin on August 24, 2010 at 8:53 pm

Final Cut Pro user/beginner – primarily used to producing video for web only… looking for some help with the correct sequence set-up for a TV ad – using non-HD MiniDV video.

Any help with the correct/recommended export process would be greatly appreciated as well.

    Thanks,
    JG

With all due respect, there is a LOT that goes into making sure a project can fall within TV specs…more than can be said in a forum post. Especially if your only experience is for the web.

My advice? Find someone in your area that has done this and pay them half a day to make it work, and watch what they do.
But there are separate specs for audio and video…and you need to fulfill both.
