Proper render settings for Youtube.
Alright, so here’s the deal. I make Let’s Plays, right? And to render the raw footage i get from Fraps, i put them together inside of Vegas and then render them. However, i want them to render faster, since each 20-minute video takes about 2 hours on my computer. This is at 720p (1280×720), and i feel that those settings are a little unnecessary for rendering video games.
So i was wondering if anyone had settings to render a video at 360p-480p, and also fit the Youtube play perfectly. I have made some tries before, and *almost* made it (as can be seen in this test video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_HaITnCbsGw ), however, i’m not satisfied since i get these itsy-bitsy black bars at the top and bottom, and being the perfectionist i am, i can’t take it. So please, if someone has any ideas or tips, please share them here. I have been looking all over the Internet for about half a year now.
