    This is my editing setup-

-decklink hd extreme card on a mac pro with 8 cores
    -sony betacam sp deck
    -sony CRT broadcast monitor
    -blackmagic software settings-set output: SDI & Y,R-Y,B-Y
Set input: Y,R-Y,B-Y video & Analog xlr audio
use video setup in NTSC- at 7.5 IRE for use in the USA
    select output processing to OFF

Here’s my problem-I have a motion graphics project wherein a CG PLANET is part of the composition. It was modeled in Maya with the proper output settings & aspect ratio of D1 NTSC. I composited it in after effects with the same settings(D1-720×486). Sounds right. But here are the problems:

    1. When I imported the finished comp in FCP timelilne(with settings on 720×486 with aspect ratio of CCIR 601 40:27, pixel aspect ratio of NTSC-CCIR 601/DV-720×480), the CG PLANET the FCP viewer & CRT monitor is now streched a little bit horizontally. But when viewing it on quicktime player, it’s the same as when i composited it in AE.

    2. When i set my Video Preiview in AE to Black magic settings so it automatically previews in my CRT monitor, it’s still stretched. But n the ae viewer, it’s not.

    3. Based on problems 1 & 2, is it safe to say that the problem is in Decklink?
