IF YOU were doing a TV series, would you assign each episode its own project file, or assign eps to sequences inside of a single, ‘season’ project? Reason I ask is, the show we’re doing uses so many common elements from episode to episode, it’s quicker to copy/paste from seq. to seq. than drill through bins.

Bad idea? How do the experienced editors do it?

I keep all eps inside one project. I then make sure I delete old versions of sequences to keep the project size down so it loads faster etc. Transcode all avchd and h.264 to ProRes for way faster load time and better stability.
