project won’t show in browser but shows in package content.
Posted by David Powell on February 4, 2014 at 9:34 pmNot sure what happened but my project disappeared from the library. I went to backups but it skips 4 days so that’s useless. However when I open the package content of the library the project is listed. Is there a way to retrieve it from here?

February 4, 2014 at 9:49 pmLooks like I was looking in the wrong place for backups. Still a mystery why it won’t show in the master library. Just learned an important lesson on manual backup vigilance.

February 4, 2014 at 10:56 pmYou click on the library itself, and scroll all the way to the top and it’s gone?

What happens if you double click on the project from within the library in Finder? Does the project open properly?

February 5, 2014 at 4:19 pmThat means that the project file is corrupt. That’s also why it’s not showing in FCP X- it’s no longer a project file so far as FCP X is concerned.
