project still stuck on hard drive
I am beside myself. Still dropping frames. I tried exporting to quicktime, getting only stopping and starting on exported version. IF my files are bad or drive is fragmented, what is my final option without losing project? I have mixed down track, RT to safe mode, etc. Info:FCP4 on G4, 30 minutes doc. 25 GB left on drive. have moved a lot of files to Lacie Drive.

25GB left on internal drive? If you have one external or separate drive, ALL the files need to be there, sans the project file, which should be on your system/app drive.
25 GB is a lot. You should still have about 2hours of storage left. I doubt your drive is very fragmented.
